What causes failure?

As a investment banker I noted 3 major contributing factors to failure.

Here they are in no particular order:

Lack of Capital Resources, Cash Flow, and Profit

Lack of Expertise, Mentorship, and Education

Lack of Will, Discipline and Persistence

What you can do to avoid these pitfalls in your Network Goodness Giving Business:

1) Getting a distributorship at $35 is a drop in the bucket to starting your own business considering the cost to start most businesses. The main problem most people have is in realizing the overhead costs. You will need approximately  $200-350 a month to support your business which should include marketing, giving and product. As for profit that is up to you and your Up-Line Mentor. If your not seeing any income within 6 months you have a problem. What are the causes? Well it is either you, your mentorship, or BOTH!

2) Educate yourself and apply the new knowledge. Are you ready for the secret of success, repeated failures. When a baby learns to walk how many times does it fall. You are a baby in this new business world expect to fall down even with a millionaire teaching you. If your not learning and applying what you learn you'll be left behind.

3) It's the small daily steps that get you BIG major victories. As you begin building, marketing, and spreading the word about your giving business realize it will take time, energy, and effort to get the results you want. You won't be able to change the world over night, but you can take small steps that will ensure you reach your goals and get results. The best advice ever NEVER QUIT, NEVER GIVE UP, but don't take my word for it read these famous quotes.

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail". Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen." Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

"All things are possible until they are proved impossible and even the impossible may only be so, as of now."

Pearl S. Buck

"All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high, one which sometimes seemed impossible."

Orison Swett Marden

"You can give in to the failure messages and be a bitter deadbeat of excuses. Or you can choose to be happy and positive and excited about life. "

A.L. Williams

"Quitting never got me anywhere. Quitting never got me my dreams." Joshua Ryder

How I hired Ramit Sethi when I was poor in 3 simple steps.

So how did I do it?

Step 1

I asked via email:

Ramit,

How do you hire a rich person when your poor?

What can you possibly offer them that they don't already have?

Not sure I can answer that for you Ramit. What I can do is ask you to be altruistic again. New giving always inspires me and helps me feel alive. Hi Ramit, I'm Joshua Ryder and I have a challenge for you. You and I both know that Tim is a exceptional fellow and his book the 4 hour work week took the nation by storm. Plus you even have an advantage you know Tim personally. What if you took his ideas of outsourcing and your teaching abillities on being rich and combined them with an altruistic network marketing business model.

Imagine changing the failure rate of network marketing and charity. Imagine ending world hunger.

The News Headlines Read:
Ramit Sethi is Ending World Hunger.

I think it can be done. I would love for you to take a look at my humble system. I know you could build one 1,000 times better but it is all I have. Consider it. I would be honored if you joined me or contributed your time.
Here is the link.

Here are the highlights:
Every $100 given does two things.
Creates a micro loan that starts another charitable franchise and feed starving children.

Like KIVA and WORLD VISION COMBINED.

Here's To Your Continued Great Success,

Step 2

I took action.

When your poor you don't have time to wait around for a rich guy to get back to you. In fact your not sure if he even will. When your poor and trying to hire a big shot marketer and idea man like Ramit Sethi you got to do something unique. So what action steps did I take. I let everyone know about my request to Ramit. I did everything I could to get the author of the best selling book, "I Will Teach You To Be Rich" to know that my request was out there. I posted a blog. I shared it on Facebook. But still no answer. Why? Ramit doesn't need me. I need him and when your life and family are on the line you'll do just about anything to make things happen. So I went on to step three.

Step 3

I stopped worrying.

I realized that it doesn't really matter if I hire Ramit or not. That everything was going to be alright. That Ramit had a choice and he could very well choose not to work for me. Then again he could choose to call me on the phone. I realized he could have many responses to my inquiry and there was nothing I could do to change how he acted. What I could do is hold him in the highest regard, believe for the best, and wait.

So what happened?

While I was waiting I realized something. I realized that what we are doing at Network Goodness is worth it. That helping struggling American's in these tough times to make a living while feeding starving children is a noble cause. Then it came to me all I needed to do to hire Ramit was pay. So Ramit give me a call I have some money for you, I can't promise it's a lot because I'm poor but, I'm ready to give you what I have set aside for you and if you don't I'll buy your book and hire you as my teacher. I'll say thank you and go about my day.

Surprising Info About Tithe

This may be a surprise to you if call yourself a christian.
Did you know you could take a break from the tithe every 7th year and every 50th year?

Did you know their was a third tithe? HUH?

Yes, in ancient Israel, God instructed His people to set aside a special tithe to assist those in need, such as orphans, widows, strangers, and Levites (Deuteronomy 14:28-29; 26:12-15).

The third tithe was to be paid every third and sixth years out of a every seven year period and by the way you get the seventh year off.

You may be wondering, "This was for the Jews do I need to follow this?"

Instead of that let us just follow Jesus and his teachings.
It's really simple and that's the way I like it:

GIVE!

Treat others like you want to be treated.

Do you want to die of starvation?
No! So then you are obligated to give and your not alone everyone should be doing this. We can end world hunger if employ the masses to make a difference.

Mt. 6:24. "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Money."

Now, that sounds easy enough but, put that together with this verse.

Luke 12:44. "Sell your possessions and give alms; make yourselves purses which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near, nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

Where your treasure is there your heart will be also. Have a heart for the poor.

Prov. 29:7. The righteous is concerned for the rights of the poor; the wicked does not understand such concern.

And remember he who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his good deed. Prov. 19:17.

World Hunger and Americans

Radical thinking and radical actions.

Hello Joshua…

Hello Joshua,

I have been praying to God for His plans and purpose for me and my family.  And I believe that Jad introducing me to you was not a coincidence but a part of His great plan.  When you gave  me a job, I Iooked at it initially as  God's way to sustain me and my kids.  Now, I believe that there's more to that.  It's more than giving me and my children a source of  livelihood but God is leading me to where he wants  me to go.  As I resumed my Cristian life when I got back from Cebu, I remembered what I was passionate about.  I was happy in helping people and children have a soft spot in my heart.  Maybe it's because I know that it was not their decision, but their situation is a result of what the adults have done or have neglected to do. In fact, in Cebu, every payday, I would look for street children in downtown Cebu and bring them to a bakery.  I buy them bread and a drink of their choice.  I also remember telling my mom, when I was in college, that I wanted to set up an orphanage.  Of course, that was kinda forgotten because of some bad choices that I made when I was younger.

This email is to let you know how much I appreciate you in my life. And how thankful I am to God for I listened to Him and opened me to this opportunity of working with your team.  This email is also to let you know that I am with God and you in working hard  for this business to be successful.  Maybe the reason why I have been successful in having people view the presentation is because I don't see taking calls as " a job", but I am looking for people with a desire not to enrich themselves but to help others, especially those who are hungry.

I have had the opportunity to talk to Sean Sommer again and his vision and plans are encouraging.  I'm sure he has also reached out to you because he's mentioned that in our conversations.  For now, money is a roadblock to Sean starting up with XanGo.  I know that he has a good heart and I want to help him.  He will surely be a valuable team member if given the chance. Let us pray for him and for God's blessing so he may join us.

Have a God blessed week!!

Anne
